Seasons of operations in May

Slightly cooler evenings with warm days make May an ideal month. The landscape remains green, wildlife is active, and the autumn light creates spectacular conditions for photography, particularly as the sun sets behind the baobabs.

Early winter brings mild daytime temperatures and cooler nights

Seasons of operations in July & August

The driest months of the year, with clear skies and rewarding wildlife viewing as vegetation thins. Lemurs remain easily seen, birding is excellent.

Mating season begins, and the first baby lemurs appear, adding a special dimension to wildlife encounters.

Peak season for birding and wildlife. Warmer days bring heightened activity across species, while cooler conditions remain ideal for walking.

Continued peak wildlife and birding with the arrival of early rains, typically brief afternoon thunderstorms. Early sunrises allow for extended morning activities and exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities.

The Camp

Designed to complement the remote wilderness of Namoroka National Park, the accommodation at Namoroka Tsingy Camp offers a comfortable and intimate retreat after a day of exploration.

The camp features safari-style tents, thoughtfully positioned to blend into the surrounding landscape and provide a peaceful connection with nature.
